The first step is an in-depth interview, either in person or remotely. The musician describes the type of sound they're looking for: warmer, brighter, drier, more responsive, or smoother. Ergonomics are also discussed: those with small hands can request a thinner neck, while those with postural concerns can request a customized chin rest. Some clients desire lighter instruments, others a more balanced neck and back. All these requests are collected and transformed into a project.
